Xiaomi Laptop Coming In 2016

Rumors that Chinese giant Xiaomi is working on a MacBook-clone have been floating around since last December. Now a new report claims to confirm that the company will launch its first laptop in China next year. According to Taipei Times, Xiaomi recently tapped Inventec to produce the notebook. The new device won’t launch until the first half of 2016, the report said. It’s expected to follow a similar model as the company’s smartphones, which offer solid hardware and features at cutthroat prices. Xiaomi already has a huge fan base in China and a few other countries where it operates. The firm mostly sells smartphones and a few other gadgets, but a new laptop could give it a whole new source of revenue. “I am upbeat about the business outlook for Xiaomi’s notebook computers,” Inventec chairman Richard Lee told Taipei Times. “The firm has more than 200 million registered smartphone users.” It sounds like Xiaomi’s laptop will be limited to China at first, though it’s poss

Dell has announced an updated version of Chromebook 11 and Dell Venue 10 Android Tablet. As per the announcement, the Dell Venue 10 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System. Dell says that this new Chromebook 11 is now available for purchase in the United States and other select countries. Asus has today launched its affordable notebook with Windows 8.1 Operating System in the Indian market. Dubbed as Asus EeeBook X205, this notebook will be available for purchase in India with a price tag of just Rs. 14,999. It will competing directly with Chromebooks and other low-cost netbooks available in the market. Acer is now world’s first Chromebook developer with a 15.6-inch Chromebook. The new Acer Chromebook 15, is the first Chrome OS powered device with big 15.6-inch display screen. The company will unveil this Chromebook at the Pepcom’s Digital Experience Event next week in Las Vegas. Talking about the features, Acer Chromebook 15 comes with 16GB and 32GB SSD options, along with 2GB and 4G RAM respectively. The price of this Chromebook in the U.S. is $249.99 and the company is yet to launch it in other countries including India. Chromebook 15 is comes with Intel’s fifth-gen Core i3 or fifth-gen Celeron processors (depending on the market). HP unveils its first 5K Display along with curved and 4K displays at CES 2015

After NVIDIA kicked off CES 2015 with its new powerful Tegra X1 superchip, HP has finally unveiled its new range of displays. The company is adding some great high-resolution displays in its portfolio. HP has today unveiled two 4K models, along with its first 5K Display. The company is also entering into the curved displays market with its very own curved display based monitor. The HP Z24s and Z27s are its two 4K based models which packs a display size of 23.8-inch and 27-inch respectively. The aspect ratio is of 16:9 and as we told in the beginning, they both feature 4K resolution. The HP Z24S, which is also the smaller model in these two displays, has a pixel density of 185ppi, while on the other hand the larger model packs 163ppi. Samsung Unveils Ultra-Thin Ativ Book 9 Laptop

As we are getting close to CES 2015, Samsung has now announced its thinnest and lightest notebook. Dubbed as Samsung ATIV Book 9 Ultrabook, this laptop is just 0.45 inch thick and will be available for purchase in 2015. The company also plans to bring it in CES 2015 next month. Samsung ATIV Book 9 packs similar design as other Samsung Laptops, but is lightest and thinnest among all of them. You can say it is company’s thinnest Laptop yet. The display is of just 12.2-inch with awesome resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The company says that it has also added an “outdoor mode” to the display of this Laptop, which means that if you are using it outdoor then the brightness will go up to 700. Dell to Release 15.6-Inch Chromebook Under $300 in 2015

If you think the current size of Chromebooks isn’t good for you, then you might like the one from Dell. If a new reports from  DigiTimes  is to be believed, then Dell is currently planning to launch a new Chromebook in 2015. The interesting thing about this Chromebook will be that it will feature a full 15.6-inch display. Making itself a good choice as compared to others in the market. And Dell will be not the only one company with big display Chromebook, Asus is also expected to release a 15.6-inch Chromebook in the month of March, 2015.
