Nokia Lumia 825 with 5.2 inches Screen

Image
News of an upcoming Nokia device that will allegedly be called Lumia 825 has surfaced. The device will be the first Nokia smartphone to feature a display larger than 5 inches. The smartphone is set to feature a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz and of the midrange variety. This coincides with earlier leaked specs of a quad-core WP8 device we heard back in June. The quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 won't exactly be a powerhouse, so it's likely the large-screened device is targeted at the lower midrange market. The Lumia 825 is rumored to come with a resolution of 720p. Even if Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update will enable 1080p screens, the mid-ranger has slim chances of qualifying for such a display. There are hints of an October smartphone release from Nokia which could be the Lumia 825. We'll keep you posted as we learn more. Do you want more TechChaitu  Updates ? Enter your email address:

New YouTube app For Windows Phones

Image
It has been a long road for Microsoft and Google over the Windows Phone YouTube app. Originally, Windows Phone's official YouTube app was basically nothing more than an HTML wrapper, then Microsoft decided to ignore Google and release a full featured YouTube app for the platform. Unfortunately, it was a bit too full-featured and included options that Google didn't allow, so Google forced Microsoft to pull the app. The two companies have been working together on creating a new YouTube app for Windows Phone users, and today is the lucky day where the new app is ready and available in the Windows Phone Store. The new version is much like the last one, but the unacceptable features have been stripped out like downloading videos, and there have been solid additions. The new app allows for uploading videos, although uploading does seem to be limited to when your device is not only connected to Wi-Fi, but charging as well. The Verge is saying that if you unplug your device w
