At CES 2015, Sony has announced that it will be rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for its Xperia Z3 series devices starting next month (February 2015). The company says that the devices which will get this update are Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z3 Tablet and Xperia Z3 Compact. The company hasn’t revealed any specific release date. Last year Sony confirmed that it will be releasing Lollipop Update for all its Xperia Z based Android devices.  While Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition model has already received the update, the other variants are still in the waiting list. There are currently no details when Sony is planning to release the Lollipop Update for its M-Series, E-Series or T-Series smartphones. It seems like Sony is currently working on a new successor for its entry-level Android smartphone Xperia E3. To be dubbed as Sony Xperia E4, the smartphone was spotted in the leaked details. As per the new reports we might see Xperia E4 at CES 2015 next month. But before we officially hear something about it, here are the details which were recently leaked on the Internet. The images and specifications were leaked by a Polish blog   TeleGuru , which claims to got its hands on a prototype model of this unannounced Xperia E4 smartphone. While we can’t confirm whether the details are genuine or not, but as per the reports, Xperia E4 will be coming with a 5-inch of qHD display screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Sony is currently working on its next smartphone for its E-series of smartphone. To be called as Sony Xperia E4, the device has been spotted in the new leaked images. Sony’s Xperia E-series based devices are those devices which comes with low price tag, but good specifications and that is what we are expecting to see on Xperia E4 too. While there are currently no official details regarding the smartphone, but when it comes out it will be the new successor for company previously launched Xperia E3 smartphone. Sony has now started rolling out the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update for all its Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z devices in different markets. The company says that this update will be available in other countries in coming weeks. Sony has shared the official change-log for this update, detailing the new features and goodies. The PlayStation 4 is up for sale and Sony has now announced that the new Uncharted game will be coming to PlayStation 4. There are currently no more details available regarding this, but the company has also released a full teaser trailer video complete with treasure map and the highlights of the game. Sony has today launched a couple of new battery packs at IFA 2013 in the form of the new CP-F5 and CP-F10L Sony battery packs. The CP-F5 and CP-F10L offer users either 5,000 mAh or 10,000 mAh of extra juice and are priced at $42 and $72 respectively. Sony explains in their press released issued today that the Sony battery packs will retain 90 percent of their juice even after 1,000 charges, thanks to the use of Lithium Ion cells. The CP-F5 provides a 1.5A, while the CP-F10L offers 1.8A per port. A few official press pictures for the upcoming Sony Xperia Z1, codenamed Honami, has leaked via an unnamed Asian retailer. The images shouldn’t surprise anyone given the number of leaks we’ve seen up until now, however these are the final press pictures. These final high resolution images show the camera specs etched near the camera lens, including the G Lens logo. If you look very carefully at the bottom of the first photo, you can also make out the speaker holes that match what we have seen previously. The left side of the phone has the clearly labelled micro SD memory card slot, which we believe sits next to the micro USB port. The other side of the phone should contain the micro SIM slot. Sony's frequently leaked cameraphone codenamed Honami could be officially named Xperia Z1. The rumor comes from a recognized XDA-Developers user, who has provided some leaks regarding past Xperia devices. Additionally, a few press shots of the Xperia Z1 popped in today, but they are sadly rather low in resolution. The renders reveal that the phone is going to be available in three colors - white, black and purple. The other thing they portrays is the glass back of the phone, reminiscent of the original Xperia Z.
