Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Sony Xperia Z3 coming next month

At CES 2015, Sony has announced that it will be rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for its Xperia Z3 series devices starting next month (February 2015). The company says that the devices which will get this update are Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z3 Tablet and Xperia Z3 Compact. The company hasn’t revealed any specific release date. Last year Sony confirmed that it will be releasing Lollipop Update for all its Xperia Z based Android devices. 

While Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition model has already received the update, the other variants are still in the waiting list. There are currently no details when Sony is planning to release the Lollipop Update for its M-Series, E-Series or T-Series smartphones. But you can expect to see it only after it is done with Xperia Z series devices.
