Moto G5 Plus Will Be Announced On February 26th at MWC 2017

Lenovo and Motorola have just teased a device announcement for Mobile World Congress next month, as they have just sent out an invite of sorts telling press to “save the date” for their upcoming press conference that is set to happen on February 26th. Although they don’t give much detail in the way of words, they do mention that it will be happening at 4:30PM local time in Barcelona, and those minor time and date details do come along with a picture that shows off the a rendered image of a smartphone so it’s likely that they will have a phone to show off at the event. This isn’t a direct confirmation, but it might as well be as this is about as close to a confirmation as it will get until Lenovo actually unveils something next month. Since the Moto Z family is still fairly new it’s a safe bet that what Lenovo and the Moto team have to show off will have nothing to do with this particular device series. Lenovo to launch Moto M in India on December 13, will be priced at Rs. 17,999

A month ago, Lenovo unveiled The Motorola Moto M in an event at Guangzhou, China. The Device is already available to buy in China, UAE and is coming to India on December 13 with a Price tag of Rs. 17,999. The Moto M (M for all-metal) features a Splash-Proof 5.5 inch full HD display and weights 163g. With rear fingerprint sensor, the device is powered with MediaTek Helio P15 Octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz.  It has 4GB RAM and 32GB Storage which can be expanded upto 128GB through Micro-SD Card. Talking about the Camera, the Moto M has a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and dual-led flash, at the front there's a 8MP selfie shooter. The rear camera is capable of capturing 1080p video. The Moto M has a 3050mAh non-removable battery with fast charging capability.

Lenovo ZUK Edge set to launch on December 7

We have already seen Multiple leaked Real-life images, Renders and Specs of the unannounced Lenovo ZUK Edge. After being certified by TENAA a month ago, there's nothing left to speak about the device. Looking at the leaked Images, ZUK Edge won't be much of an Edge. No doubt, The device looks beautiful in the below image. Zuk Z2151 aka Zuk Edge sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display.  Powered by the latest Snapdragon 821, ZUK Edge will probably be one of the most affordable SD821 device with a Price tag of CNY 2,699 ($390). Lenovo said to use only 'Moto' branding on all future phones

As rumored earlier, Lenovo is ditching its own brand for all future handsets. Instead, it will be using "Moto" as its only brand for future. The reports also says that the Company is replacing Xudong Chen as co-president and SVP of Lenovo’s Mobile Business Group in China, with Gina Qiao, formerly SVP of human resources.   And it would also mean we won't see "Vibe" or "Phab" phones in the future. Everything might turn into Moto G, E, Z and so on.

According to new reports we got today, The rumored Motorola Moto M and the Lenovo P2 will get unleashed on November 8, 2016 in Guangzhou, China. The Lenovo P2 was displayed last month at IFA 2016, also carrying a 5.5-inch screen and a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 625 chipset is under the hood with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. In Europe, the phone will sport 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. The Chinese variant comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of native storage. The camera combo from back to front is 13MP and 5MP. A huge 5100mAh battery keeps the lights on, and a  fingerprint scanner is embedded inside the home button The Moto M features a 16MP rear-facing camera, and an 8MP front-facing shooter to snap selfies and handle video chats. Lenovo A6000, A5000, P70, S90 and Others to Get Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Soon

Lenovo has finally revealed its Android 5.0 Lollipop Update plan. The company has silently updated its Android Upgrade Matrix Page. According to the listing, Lenovo’s seven smartphones will be getting Lollipop Update in the Q2 of this year.  The Lenovo smartphones which will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update are Lenovo A500, A6000, P70-A, S90-A, Vibe X2, Vibe Z2 and Vibe Z2 Pro. So, if you are owning these smartphones, then you can expect to receive the latest Lollipop Update in Q2 of 2015. There are currently no details about the other Lenovo Devices. We still don’t know the exact roll out date for the same. Well, other smartphone brands have already started rolling out the update now. So, we think Lenovo is bringing it late. But still we are happy to see that the company is preferring to update its devices.

Lenovo has unveiled a new mid-range Android Smartphone in China. The company has announced Lenovo P70 with 4000 mAh of massive battery. As per the specifications and price, this smartphone will focus on budget friendly audience.  According to Lenovo, this smartphone will give the battery backup of around three days, thanks to the massive battery inside. It also features quick charge support, which means that you can easily charge it in just 15 minutes and you are good to go. Other features include a 5-inch of 720p HD IPS display screen, powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of Internal Storage. The device also supports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System with Vibe UI and also features 4G LTE support. Lenovo launches cheapest 4G phone A6000 at Rs 6,999

After its global announcement at CES, Lenovo has launched the A6000 in India for Rs.6,999. This makes it the cheapest 4G enabled smartphone in India. Interestingly, it also becomes the cheapest smartphone in India with a 64-bit capable chipset. The phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart, which makes it the third device Lenovo has launched on the online retailer. Previously, the company launched the Vibe X2 and the Vibe Z2 pro. Consumers will need to register for the sale of the phone. This is similar to how Xiaomi conducts its flash sales on Flipkart. Registrations will start at 6PM today and end on 6PM on January 27. The phone will go on sale on January 28 at 2PM on Flipkart. Lenovo and Flipkart have not revealed the number of units that will be available initially. At CES 2015 Lenovo announced its new budget friendly Android Smartphone. Dubbed as Lenovo A6000, the smartphone comes with the price tag of $169, which is around Rs. 10,681. Lenovo has launched two new low cost Android Tablets at this year Consumer Electronics Show. Dubbed as Lenovo TAB 2 A7-10 and A7-30, both of these tablets will focus on first-time tablet buyers and will be shipping in January and March respectively. The price of A7-10 Tablet is $99, while on the other hand the A7-30 comes with $129 price tag. Both of these new Lenovo tablets run Android 4.4 Kitkat Operating System with some pre-installed apps like SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit. Lenovo has launched a new low cost Android Phone take on the very popular Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphone. Xiaomi is a well known Chinese smartphone maker, which usually launches budget friendly Android smartphones and all that with better hardware. Lenovo ships 50 million smartphones, reports $817 million profit

Lenovo has reported its Q4 FY14 financial results and the full financial report of year 2013-2014 that ended on March 31, 2014. The company has reported revenue of US $9.4 billion for Q4 FY14, which increased 19-percent year-over-year.  The company also reported full-year revenue of US$38 . 7 billion, which is up about 14-percent year-over-year. Thus, the company reported profit of $817 million, up 29% YTY. The company shipped about 115 million  device  in the  year which  includes 55 million PCs, 50 million  smartphones and 9.2 million tablets. Lenovo is at  top   in   global PC segment  with about 17.7% market share while HP is following with about 17.2% market share.
