Moto G 2nd gen spotted running Android 5.1

Image
It’s logical enough that Google is and has been for some time working on a release version of the next Android. It was speculated that this would be Android 5.1 Lollipop and we have now seen what might be a pre-release version of this new Android version. Now, a second generation Motorola Moto G has been spotted running Lollipop 5.1 (not the device showing above, which is a Moto X). It’s interesting that it is being tested on a Moto G rather than a Nexus device, which might suggest that Google’s testing has progressed to providing the manufacturers with the code. What could be included in Android 5.1 Lollipop? The most important features are likely going to be resolutions to existing conditions and problems. One is the memory leak problem present in all versions of Android 5.0.x; this is what causes our devices to decelerate in use after a day or so, then we start to see applications crash-closing by themselves and other words behaviour. Another big to be crushed is the WiFi batter

With the latest update to the Google Now Launcher (and the Google Search app, which controls much of the content therein), folks running a device on Android 4.1 to 4.4 will now see the same Material Design styling as those who have the launcher installed on their Lollipop device. Prior to this update, installing the Google Now Launcher from the Play Store would give you a version that was tailored to look similar to the version of Android you were running — now you get the same look no matter what. Things won't change dramatically if you update and are on a non-Lollipop device, but you will notice that the Google Search bar at the top of the launcher has a nice white color and animations have a bit more life to them.  You'll also notice that the Google Now area of the launcher has a slide-in panel on the left, which lets you switch accounts, set reminders and change Google Now settings. Nexus 5 users facing problems after updating to Android 5.0 Lollipop

Image
Several Nexus 5 users are complaining about bugs in the software, poor battery life, and Wi-Fi issues after they updated their phones to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Last month, Google started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update, which brought many new features, and also a complete new graphical overhaul with a new design language called Material Design. Several sophisticated security features are also been introduced. But it looks like that Google has not tested the new update before rolling it out as many users are facing numerous issues. We all know how famous the Nexus 5 was for its short battery life and the new update has shortened it further. Several users have complained about massive battery drains. Installing the latest version of Google PlayStore (v6.5) will supposedly fix the battery drain issue. Many of them also reported issues including the device excessively heating up, and Wi-Fi causing a battery drain among others. Though these issues aren’t affecting all the Nexu
