Android One to get Lollipop Update in the next few weeks says Google

Google has finally revealed that all the Android One smartphones in India will be getting the latest Android Lollipop Updates in the next few weeks. While the company hasn’t mentioned anything if it will Android 5.0 or 5.1, but we are expecting that it will be 5.1.

Google Nexus and Google Play Devices which are currently running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop will also get this new Android 5.1 in the coming weeks. There are still no details when other smartphone brands will start rolling out this update.

                                       

Google’s Lollipop Update is the major update which brings Material Design and responsive User Interface to Android. The OS is now more faster and smoother than previous version of Android. It also supports the powerful ART runtime with 15 new languages.

The Android One smartphones in India are Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO Mi-498 and Karbonn Sparkle V.
