Xolo has finally started rolling out the new Android 4.4 KitKat Update for its Q1200 and Q700S smartphone. The company is already rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for select smartphones, but we still don’t know when these smartphones will get the same.  Those who are interested can now download this KitKat Update from Xolo’s official website. The company might start rolling out it in the coming days. There are currently no exact detail for the same. This KitKat Update will bring Android 4.4 features to your Xolo Phone. After releasing Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Xolo One, Xolo has finally released the same Lollipop Update for its Q610s smartphone. So, now Xolo Q610s can download install the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop on their smartphone. Xolo is currently working on bringing the HIVE specific features to Android Lollipop.  When asked about the Lollipop Update for MT6592-based devices, the company says that this Android Lollipop Update was ported by MediaTek for the MT6582 running Android devices. That is the reason they were able to release it early. But for the Xolo smartphones who are running MT6592 chipset, the company is yet to release the exact time frame for the rollout. Xolo, which is an Indian smartphone brand, has finally released a new Android Phone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Xolo Q520s, the smartphone joins the affordable Q-Core series phones. The price of this phone is Rs. 5,699 and you can easily buy it from eBay India or any other stores. Talking about the features, Xolo Q520s comes with a 4-inch of WVGA IPS display screen, powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of Internal Storage. The device runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System and has 1820 mAH battery inside. The smartphone also packs 5MP rear camera and a VGA front shooter. The company has already released two new minor software update for its previously launched Opus 3 smartphone. Xolo One smartphone owners in India, here is a good news for you. The Indian brand is currently planning to release the all new Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Xolo One on January 16th. The company’s business head Sunil Raina told The Economic Times that the dedicated Xolo software team helped them to ready the update this quickly. “We have sold around 2,00,000 units of Xolo One smartphone since its launch in October last year. The acceptance of this device is too high and with the upgrade coming in, there will be more people interested in buying this device. The update will be an advantage with us,” Raina revealed to ET.  Xolo released Xolo One smartphone in the Indian market in the month of October, with Android 4.4 KitKat and the company promised to release the new update as soon as possible.
