Producer Aswini dutt wanted to make Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari sequel with Ramcharan and Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi kapoor.He chose S.S.Rajamouli to direct this movie from 2011 september.But Rajamouli was not preferred by Chiranjeevi and his family.Reason behind this choice is that Rajamouli was always claiming that MAGADHEERA became a big hit because of his direction and Charan had nothing to do with it.

Dutt preferred S.S.Rajamouli who directed Magadheera with Charan for this project. Rajamouli felt that a sequel of this mega movie is an exciting idea but he cannot handle this in 2011 as he has many prior committements with other heroes for next 3 years.

Producer Aswini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies has announced that he is planning to make the sequel for Chiranjeevi & Sridevi starrer superhit movie Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari with Chiranjeevis son Ramcharan and Sridevis daughter Jhanvi Kapoor. The basic storyline of this movie is ready and he is planning to take this on floors by February 2011. Already Chiranjeevi and Boney Kapoor have agreed to this project.

Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari movie was a blockbuster of Chiranjeevi and Sridevi in 1990. This movie made record collections though AP had floods during its release. Now, its producer Aswini Dutt is planning its sequel on his same banner, Vyjayanthi Movies. He has decided to cast Ramcharan in this sequel, who will play son of Raju(Chiru) and Indraja(Sridevi) who is born with supernatural powers as his mother is an angel. Dutt is considering to cast Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi kapoor in this sequel which may be directed by S.S.Rajamouli who made telugu industry’s biggest blockbuster Magadheera.
