The Redmi 4 comes out with two variants, one with Snapdragon 430 (Standard Edition) & other with Snapdragon 625 (Pro Edition). Redmi 4 with Snapdragon 430 features a 5" HD Display, It has an Octa Core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage. The Device sports a 13MP rear and 5MP selfie shooter. Skinned with MIUI 8, the device runs Marshmallow and has a giant 4100mAh battery. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Launch Set for November 4

Xiaomi is all set to launch the next Redmi device the Redmi 4 on November 4. India is known to have a Xiaomi fanbase and a lot of fans consist of people who use a Redmi device. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been teased by the company for sometime now and the company has finally released the date of the launch.Xiaomi will be getting the device to India as well, but the company has not commented on what exactly will be the launch date of the device in India.The Xiaomi Redmi 4 will have a fingerprint sensor at the back and looks very similar to the current Redmi Note 3. The Redmi 4 will offer a 5-inch Full HD display and will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage with support for microSD card slot. On the camera front, there will be a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera and will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery.The device is expected to be priced around CNY 1,299 in China which roughly translates to Rs 12,870.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 to be launched in June

We all have been patiently waiting for the next generation Mi Band 2 from Xiaomi. Earlier rumours had revealed that the new wearable was going to be announced alongside the Xiaomi Max phablet on May 10. Well, that didn’t happen, which brought up questions about the release date of the device among fans. Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun had earlier showed off the new band at the event, but revealed no details about its release. However, considering the concern about the progress of the Mi Band 2, he confirmed today that the new wearable will be announced early June. If you remember, when Huami CEO had revealed that the Mi Band 2 was facing mass production issues, Lei Jun had said that it would take around a month for everything to stabilise. So, this time frame is in line with the CEO’s previous comments. Rumors that Chinese giant Xiaomi is working on a MacBook-clone have been floating around since last December. Now a new report claims to confirm that the company will launch its first laptop in China next year. According to Taipei Times, Xiaomi recently tapped Inventec to produce the notebook. The new device won’t launch until the first half of 2016, the report said. It’s expected to follow a similar model as the company’s smartphones, which offer solid hardware and features at cutthroat prices. Xiaomi already has a huge fan base in China and a few other countries where it operates. Xiaomi has finally revealed a couple of new details regarding its upcoming Xiaomi Mi 4c smartphone. Thanks to Xiaomi co-founder and president Li Nan, and Chairman and co-founder Lei Jun, for share these new details. Xiaomi says that the new Xiaomi Mi 4c will come in a new packaging. The company will be switching from non-descript box to more colorful ones. It also confirms that ‘c’ in 4c will focus on ‘colors.’ So, Xiaomi Mi 4c will be available in different color options too, just like the Apple iPhone 5c. It will also support dual-SIM capacibilties with 4G on both SIMs. The company is also adding some popular software features in this phone. The Xiaomi Mi 4c will feature double tap to wake, which will allow users to turn on the display with just double tap on the screen. It is official now, Xiaomi Mi 4c will be coming out on September 22nd. As confirmed by Xiaomi co-founder and president Mr. Lin Bin, Xiaomi is planning to launch two different models of the Xiaomi Mi 4c smartphone. The first one with low price tag will feature 2GB RAM with 16GB of storage and the second one will feature 3GB RAM with 32GB of Internal Storage. The price of Xiaomi Mi 4c 16GB model will be obviously lower than the 32GB model. It will start at around $235 USD. Both of these smartphones will also include USB Type-C port for offering better transfer speed. That is all what we know about Xiaomi Mi 4c right now. It is also expected to include a 3080 mAH battery inside with an infrared port. Well, September 22 is the date when Xiaomi will launch it in China. There are currently no details when it will be launching in the Indian market. Let’s wait for the best.

Leaked Images of Xiaomi Mi 5 Suggest a 5.2-inch QHD Display

In January, Xiaomi announced the Mi Note and the Mi Pro but did not reveal a successor to their victorious Mi 4, which came out last year in January. However, this can change as the new device, tentatively named as the ‘Mi 5′, may arrive this summer. Recently leaked photos reveal new details about the new phone. The phone looks a lot like its predecessors in terms of its body design, only molded a bit more taller and thinner. Below are the alleged specs of the device. The phone is expected to have a 5.2-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM and powered by a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 810 chipset. The rest of the rumoured specs include a 16MP primary camera, integrated with an Optical Image Stabilisation for steady shots, a fingerprint scanner via the handset’s button and a 3,000mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi 5 could come with fingerprint scanning technology

Xiaomi’s Mi 4 successor was expected to be launched in January, but that certainly didn’t happen. Three months later, the phone is still in the rumor mill, with new reports suggesting the Mi 5 could come with a fingerprint scanner. First spotted by GizmoChina, Xiaomi has filed a patent application with the State Intellectual Property Office in China. The patent deals with a method to integrate fingerprint scanning into the touch buttons on a handset. The fingerprint scanning technology will most likely be embedded into the Mi 5′s home button at the bottom. While it is the original Mi Band, but it comes with a budget friendly price tag of just Rs. 999.  Xiaomi says that this band will be on sale starting April 28 on company’s mi.com website. It seems like Xiaomi is currently working on a low-cost variant of Xiaomi Mi 4. To be called as Xiaomi E4, the smartphone have been recently leaked. It has many things similar to Mi 4, except for 2GB of RAM.  As spotted by GizChina, the smartphone recently passed certification website TENAA, where it revealed that the company is planning to firstly unveil this smartphone in China with the price tag of something under $300. As per reports, Xiaomi E4 is expected to feature a 5-inch of Full HD 1080p Display screen with 441ppi pixel density, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB and 64GB of Internal Storage options. The smartphone also includes a 13-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Xiaomi plans to launch Mi Band in India in April

Jaimani, part of Mi India product team, announced in a forum  update  that Mi Band will be available by late March or early April. According to the update, Mi India is currently testing Mi Band and plan to sell it in India as soon as they complete the update to MIUI 6 for their devices. The Chinese smartphone launched its latest device, Mi 4 at Rs 19,999 in the Indian market, in partnership Flipkart. The Mi 4 features a 5-inch display, 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory and runs on a 3,080 mAh battery.
