Ramcharan’s  Maerupu  movie was halted due to budget issues and lack of planning from director Dharani. And now Charan is busy with  Racha  shooting.He thought of dropping vinayak’s movie but Chiranjeevi interfered and wanted charan to remain committed to his word and work with vinayak.So instead of vinayak’s own story, he was asked to work on dharani’s  Maerupu  story and give it his own treatment.Everyone knows that vinayak plans his movie well and completes within specified budget and time.Right now vinayak and akula siva are working towards this script and if charan is convinced, this movie will have its muhurtam next month and regular shooting from september last week. Megasupergood movies producers have surprised everyone by announcing that they will restart  Maerupu  movie soon after  Racha  is completed.Maerupu movie was clapped by Chiranjeevi in 2010 but was stopped due to story changes and budget issues.Producers N.V.Prasad and Paras Jain announced that after sorting out issues, Maerupu will restart before end of 2011.Dharani is director for that movie in which Kajal was heroine and Devisree Prasad has actually composed few tunes too. After the debacle of  Badrinath , Ramcharan is thinking of keeping v.v.vinayak’s movie aside for a while and work with Dharani.Even Chiranjeevi is not considering Vinayak for his 150th movie anymore.

Ramcharan has not started any movie since Orange released in November 2010. After listening to different stories, facing criticism for his choice of working for Orange and after his dream of doing direct tamil movie with Manirathnam has been dropped, he seems to have turned philosophical.Charan tweeted that “ Most of us think that if we are judgmental enough, things will change.But over judgment makes it harder to change.just listen to the inner U “.Well, best of luck with your judgement aboutRacha story as it is approved by Chiranjeevi too and is going on floors from 1st june.

Tamil director Dharani planned to make Maerupu movie with 35 crores budget but it was stalled last year.Recently Ramcharan has announced during Maaveeran‘s music release that he wishes to do a straight tamil movie soon with an established director and is planning to release it simultaneously in tamil and telugu.Even though Maerupu movie is not happening now, Dharani is still in touch with Charan and is hoping to grab that oppurtunity to direct Charan in straight tamil movie.Maaveeran is releasing in mid may, and Dharani’s hopes depend on its success in tamilnadu.Meanwhile, Ramcharan’s fifth movie would be directed by V.V.Vinayak for which Akula Siva provided the story.But this movie would go on floors after Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie is finalised in may and Charan completes atleast 2 schedules for Rachcha with Sampath Nandi . Ramcharan is finding it hard to start a movie after Orange.He planned to start Maerupu in last november but due to strike in film industry it was stopped and later budget factor made that project to be shelved.Later Charan got busy with bunny’s wedding activities and was listening to stories but didn’t finalise anything until he heard Sampath Nandi’s Rachcha story.When he okayed it and went to USA to get trained at David Barton’s gym, strike struck on industry again.Charan was supposed to comeback this week and start Rachcha movie on 25th april, but due to this unresolved strike, he is still in miami and movie got postponed.Now with 17 departments agreeing to conditions of producers but few more still holding their demands, nobody knows when will this strike end and when will shootings resume.Till then Rachcha will remain on papers.. Yet another director’s son is planning to make a sequel with Chiranjeevi’s son, Ramcharan.After K.Raghavendra Rao’s son Suryaprakash, trying to prepare script for socio-fantasy movie Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari‘s sequel, now A.Kodandarami Reddy’s son, Vaibhav is planning Khaidi‘s sequel with Charan.Vaibhav acted as hero in few movies since his debut in 2007, but could not taste much success as an actor.Now under his father’s guidance, he is getting trained for movie direction and expressed his desire to direct Ramcharan in Khaidi’s sequel.Incidentally, his father directed Chiranjeevi in Khaidi(1983), which turned out to be a blockbuster hit and made Chiranjeevi a star.Paruchuri Brothers, who wrote script for the original movie are also interested in writing for a sequel and are in touch with kodandarami reddy.Charan is supposed to start two movies this year, one with Sampath Nandi and second with V.V.Vinayak.He also has plans to revamp Maerupu movie with another director.If this

Sampath Nandi has narrated a mass action story to Ravi Teja with title, Rachcha but could not get his dates. Later Jr.NTR took that title and planned a movie with Surender Reddy.Now, Sampath got a nod from Ramcharan and he wanted to use his Rachcha title for this movie.Knowing this, Jr.NTR has transferred the title to Charan’s project without making any Rachcha , and it would start next month when Charan returns from miami.Charan is happy with NTR’s gesture and is praising him for his big heart.
