Sony launches SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk in India

Japanese electronics giant Sony on Monday said it has launched its latest range of smart wearables - SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk - in India. "SmartWatch 3 is the first smartwatch specifically designed for the latest Android Wear updates, while, SmartBand Talk allows users call handling and voice control functions from their wrists", Sony India said in a statement. The SmartWatch 3 - priced at Rs 19,990 - has a built-in microphone, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyro and GPS sensor, while SmartBand Talk is priced at Rs 12,990. It has a screen size on 1.6-inch with transflective display for visibility in bright sunlight.  "The water-proof smart device sports an internal memory of 4GB", the firm said. With built-in microphone and speaker, SmartBand Talk features a short call function helping users to talk into it and hear the caller. Its sports HD Voice support, it added. Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Sony Xperia Z3 coming next month

At CES 2015, Sony has announced that it will be rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for its Xperia Z3 series devices starting next month (February 2015). The company says that the devices which will get this update are Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z3 Tablet and Xperia Z3 Compact. The company hasn’t revealed any specific release date. Last year Sony confirmed that it will be releasing Lollipop Update for all its Xperia Z based Android devices.  While Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition model has already received the update, the other variants are still in the waiting list. There are currently no details when Sony is planning to release the Lollipop Update for its M-Series, E-Series or T-Series smartphones. Sony Explains How Its PS4 Online Game-Sharing Works

The Tuesday 2.0 Update for PlayStation 4 will bring a much awaited feature to the console. Ya! we are talking about the PlayStation 4’s Share Play feature, which will allow users to virtually share the controller with other players via the internet, to get help for any scene or something else. But before it goes live, Sony has today released a video explaining how players will be able to use the Share Play feature in PS4. All the other function except the normal screen sharing will require a PlayStation Plus subscription to work. And the interesting thing about this feature is that it will be limited for an hours, which means that you can share your controller remotely for a limited period of time. Check the video yourself .
