Power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, who successfully highlighted the issue of mysterious kidney diseases of Uddanam area in Srikakulam district, is now said to have shifted his focus on Ongole, one of the backward districts of coastal Andhra. Sources close to Jana Sena said Pawan has sent his followers to study the issues confronting the people of Prakasam district, including farmers’ sufferings in the upland areas.  Once the issues are identified, Pawan would visit those areas and interact with the farmers, besides students. After the recent twitter war against the Bharatiya Janata Party, power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is back to the direct battle. Starting January 3, Pawan is planning to make a whirlwind tour of north coastal districts to address a series of public meetings to convey his message on the contemporary isues and consolidate his party in this part of Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, the Jana Sena party president would begin with a public meeting at Srikakulam on January 3. Later, he would go on a rally to Uddanam area, which is notorious for death of several people due to kidney failures in the last few years.   He would call on about 250 kidney patients who have bene undergoing treatment at Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam. Needless to say, he would make it a big issue through his twitter and also open letters to the TDP government. Actress Sayyeshaa says rumours are not true that she has been signed on for Pawan Kalyan-starrer yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster "Vedalam". But she wishes she gets an opportunity to work with him. "I would be blessed if I get to work with him. Unfortunately, I still haven't got any offer but I really wish it happens," Sayyeshaa told media, adding that she hasn't signed any Telugu film yet.   Having recently made her Hindi film debut with Ajay Devgn-starrer "Shivaay", she is currently shooting for her Tamil debut "Vanamagan". She has also signed a Hindi project. However, she says she can't divulge details regarding the film at the moment.

Pawan Kalyan's next film after Katamarayudu will be directed by top director Trivikram. Script work is complete and Trivikram is currently busy with the pre production work. Kannada actor Upendra, Tamil actress Khushboo and Bollywood actor Boman Irani are roped in for key roles. Keethy Suresh of Nenu Sailaja fame and ‘Majnu’ fame Anu Emmanuel are going to play the female leads in it.  Trivikram who has been churning out family dramas lately is reportedly coming up with a story that has everything that caters to all sections of audience. It has action, romance, thrills, family drama, comedy and heroism, said sources. Expectations would be rife as PK-Trivikram’s last film was an industry hit. The film is expected to do around Rs. 100 crore pre release business and therefore Trivikram is making sure to offer a complete package that cannot go wrong. Last week, Pawan Kalyan planned to announce his next public meeting and the next course of political action of his Jana Sena party. But the demise of Jayalalitha made him to drop the idea of holding the press meet.Now he is completely busy shooting for "Katamarayudu" in Pollachi in Tamilnadu and once he returns from this schedule he will be leaving for foreign destination to ring in New Year 2017. Telangana state IT minister KTR who was the chief guest at the pre release event of Dhruva has impressed everybody with his short yet striking speech. One moment that stood out to be the highlight of his speech was when he mentioned Pawan Kalyan’s name. The minister was stunned to witness a thunderous response from the crowd when he uttered Pawan Kalyan’s name.   KTR was visibly surprised to see the crowd go berserk after he mentioned Pawan Kalyan’s name and in reaction he said ‘waareva’. Interestingly, there was not much response when KTR mentioned Chiranjeevi or Charan’s name. Pawan fans have been chanting Power star’s name throughout the event and when they are shouting Pawan slogans during his speech, Allu Aravind stated that Pawan Kalyan will attend few events very soon. There have been reports about Pawan attending the audio launch of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No. 150 and Allu Aravind has indirectly confirmed it.

CPI Secretary Ramakrishna met Pawan Kalyan on Thursday to discuss about the present situation in Andhra Pradesh. The meeting took place at Jana Sena Office in Hyderabad. AITUC AP Council President and MLA Chandrasekhar Rao too was present for Today's meeting. In the press release, Jana Sena Party revealed that the trio has discussed about Special Category Status, Land Acquisition for Projects, Implementation of Demonetization and other issues.  Ramakrishna describes the meeting as a courtesy call. He hints CPI and Jana Sena would fight on the issues on which their policies were one and the same. He also informed Pawan Kalyan would once again meet CPI top brass leaders in the near future. Jana Sena will most probably have a pre-poll alliance with Left Parties in 2019 General Elections.
