Android 5.0 Lollipop Update starts Rollout for HTC One (M8) in India

HTC has rolled out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for One (M8) users in India. The OTA (over-the-air) update is being rolled out in a phased manner, and should be reaching all the devices soon. htc-one-m8-lollipop-updateThe update is 650MB in size, so we advise you to have an active Wi-Fi connection when updating your smartphone.

The Lollipop update brings in new lockscreen and notifications UI, improved recent apps list with support for multiple pages, and an addition of search function within settings. One (M8) users should be getting a notification for the available update. In case you haven’t, you can head over to Settings -> About Phone -> Software update.
