Acer announces world’s first 15.6-inch Chromebook for $250
Acer is now world’s first Chromebook developer with a 15.6-inch Chromebook. The new Acer Chromebook 15, is the first Chrome OS powered device with big 15.6-inch display screen. The company will unveil this Chromebook at the Pepcom’s Digital Experience Event next week in Las Vegas.
Talking about the features, Acer Chromebook 15 comes with 16GB and 32GB SSD options, along with 2GB and 4G RAM respectively. The price of this Chromebook in the U.S. is $249.99 and the company is yet to launch it in other countries including India.
Chromebook 15 is comes with Intel’s fifth-gen Core i3 or fifth-gen Celeron processors (depending on the market). The 15.6-inch display is with a resolution of 1920x1080p or 1366×768 pixels, along with Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, MicroSD card slot, HD webcam and full-sized speakers.
