Dell announces new Chromebook 11 and Venue 10 with Android 5.0

Dell has announced an updated version of Chromebook 11 and Dell Venue 10 Android Tablet. As per the announcement, the Dell Venue 10 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System. Dell says that this new Chromebook 11 is now available for purchase in the United States and other select countries. While on the other hand Venue 10 will be on sale in spring 2015.


 Dell Chromebook 11 comes with a a 11.6-inch display and 1366×768 pixels resolution, powered by a dual-core Intel Bay Trail-M Celeron processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2/ 4GB of RAM and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0.

Education devices need to be really robust to make it through a school district’s life cycle. They also need to be powerful and flexible enough to suit individual learning needs, and make collaborating within the classroom simple. Our latest education solutions give students, teachers and IT managers the tools they need to provide an engaging learning experience,” said Sam Burd, vice president and general manager, Dell Personal Computing Product Group.

While on the other hand the Dell Venue 10 comes with 10-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, NFC and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The price of Dell Chromebook 11 is $249 for 2GB variant and $299 for 4GB variant. There are currently no details regarding the price of Venue 10.
