ASUS Eeebook X205, low cost Windows 8.1 Laptop launched for just Rs. 14,999

Asus has today launched its affordable notebook with Windows 8.1 Operating System in the Indian market. Dubbed as Asus EeeBook X205, this notebook will be available for purchase in India with a price tag of just Rs. 14,999. It will competing directly with Chromebooks and other low-cost netbooks available in the market. Talking about the features, the Asus EeeBook X205 comes with a 11.6-inch of display screen, 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution and a full-size chiclet keyboard. The device runs latest Windows 8.1 Operating System with Big. It is just 17.5mm thick and weighs around 0.98Kg. The company has also installed 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735 processor with 2GB of RAM in the netbook. Asus says that this netbook has the ability to offer around 12 hours of battery backup, which if true is amazing.

The internal storage is of just 32GB, which is less, but thankfully there is a microSD card slot for those who want to expand the storage. Along with that, Asus is giving 500GB of free WebStorage and 100GB of Microsoft OneDrive Storage for around 2 years. Other features includes a VGA camera, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports, and a micro-HDMI port. It will be on sale next month in Dark Blue, White, Red and Gold colour variants.
