Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has now started offering refurbished version of its Redmi 1S smartphone in India. Xiaomi is among very few companies who are currently selling refurbished product or you can say just unboxed phones in the Indian market. Xiaomi has partnered with OverCart.com to sell these models of Redmi 1S in India. The sale is now live and users will still require an invite to buy it.  As per BGR, the project is in the pilot phase and after looking at its performance, Xiaomi will decide whether it will be good to sell refurbished mobile phones in India or not. Xiaomi may launch the Mi 4 on January 28 in India

For all those who were waiting for Xiaomi’s Mi4 smartphone in India, here is a good news for you. Xiaomi’s VP of Global Operations, Hugo Barra has recently revealed that the company is planning to launch Mi4 in the Indian market on coming January 28th. Which means that it will be on sale just after 10 days. That is what he revealed at the Mi Note announcement in Beijing’s Press Event. The company is yet to announce the price of Mi 4 for Indian users. But this phone is currently on sale in China for 1,999 yuan which means it might be on sale in India with the price tag of something like Rs. 18,999. To remind you, Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 5-inch of Full HD display screen, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor along with 3GB of RAM, running Android 4.4 KitKat based MIUI 6.0 and packing 3080 mAh battery inside. The device also features a metal frame and nano-coating for water-resistance. The back camera is of 13MP and front one is of 8MP.

Xiaomi Mi Note After long rumors and leaks, the China’s popular smartphone vendor, Xiaomi has finally unveiled two new flagship devices today. Dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Note and Mi Note Pro, both of these devices were unveiled at today’s press event in Bejing. The company is referring Mi Note as its new flagship device for the masses. Talking about the features, Xiaomi Mi Note packs a 5.7-nch of Full HD display screen with 2.5D curved glass on the front and 3D curved glass on the back. The phone also includes 13MP rear camera with OIS and two-tone LED flash. The front camera is of 4MP. Talking about the performance of this smartphone, it features powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM.  It also has Dual-SIM and a 3000 mAh battery inside. From past a few days, we are listening much about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone. While the company already confirmed in 2014 that it plans to unveil its new flagship device in the first month of January, we are still not having any exact date. New Leaked Xiaomi Mi4S Poster Shows Thin Bezels and Big Display

If you remember a few days back Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun confirmed that the company is planning to unveil its next flagship device this month. While we don’t know the exact name of this new flagship smartphone, but as per leaks it might be called Xiaomi Mi5 or Xiaomi Mi4S. We still can’t confirm which name is legit and which is not, but a new leaked image of this smartphone shows beautiful display and bezel less design of the phone. Airtel opens bookings for Xiaomi Redmi Note to push 4G services

Bharti Airtel has tied up with Chinese handset maker Xiaomi to provide its 4G mobile Redmi Note through its 133 stores at six cities, including Delhi and NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. Priced at Rs 9,999, the mobile was recently available at Flipkart only through a flash sale on December 30, 2014, at the same price. The operator provides 4G services in 16 cities. Bharti Airtel said: “Mi India fans can now book their device online and select their preferred Airtel store and date for purchasing the device”. The devices will be sold at 133 of its stores on a first-come-first-serve basis. The company said it will organise a ‘Mi Day’ each week at select stores in the six cities, enabling customers to buy the device without any pre-booking. Airtel said prepaid and non-Airtel customers will have to first opt for an Airtel postpaid myPlan when they purchase the Redmi Note 4G. There has been lot of leaks, rumors and reports regarding Xiaomi’s upcoming devices recently, and then its CEO even announced that the company will launch their new flagship handset this month. Thinking about the same, Xiaomi has today announced that it plans to launch a new Redmi-series Android Smartphone on January 4th. Xiaomi Sold 1 Million Smartphones In India

Xiaomi’s Ban Might Boost Motorola’s Growth In India

One of the most shocking revelation to come alight in last few days is the ban (now partial) imposed on the Chinese handset manufacturer, Xiaomi in India.
