Xiaomi selling refurbished Redmi 1S in India

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has now started offering refurbished version of its Redmi 1S smartphone in India. Xiaomi is among very few companies who are currently selling refurbished product or you can say just unboxed phones in the Indian market. Xiaomi has partnered with OverCart.com to sell these models of Redmi 1S in India. The sale is now live and users will still require an invite to buy it.

 As per BGR, the project is in the pilot phase and after looking at its performance, Xiaomi will decide whether it will be good to sell refurbished mobile phones in India or not. For those who are unaware of these terms. The refurbished products are those types of products which customer returns due to some fault and after fixing it the company sell it at discounted price. While, on the other hand, the Unboxed products are new devices, returned by the consumers after opening the box pack. The price of refurbished Redmi 1S is Rs. 4,590 and unbox Redmi 1S is Rs. 4,990. To remind you the original price of this phone is Rs. 5,999 and it is available for purchase on Flipkart.
