WhatsApp releases its official web client for Chrome and Android

After long rumors and leaks, WhatsApp has finally released the desktop version of its service. Which means that now users will be able to access WhatsApp on their computer. The company has released its new “WhatsApp Web” service for Google Chrome and Android Users. It is yet to come for the iOS users. Those who are interested can now access the web version at  web.whatsapp.com . But the important thing is that you will still need your phone. Your phone should be connected to the web, then only this web client will work. All your messages will be still on your phone, but the company things that this new web client will be best for those who spend most of their time in front of a computer at work or home. WhatsApp is currently one of the largest chat clients in the world. With more than 600 million users, the company is now focusing towards more audience. This move will help WhatsApp to reach more users and increase the monthly active user number.

HP unveils a 12-inch Android tablet that looks like a giant HTC One

HP is planning to introduce some new Android tablets this year. The company plans to make them available in different price range. So, whether it is cheap or high-end, HP wants to cover every customers it can. The company is today launching two most powerful Android Tablets. These two HP tablets are the 12.3-inch HP Pro Slate 12 and the 7.9-inch HP Pro Slate 8. Both of these tablets are like the giant version of the HTC One M8 smartphone. Both of these tablets comes with a Snapragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. The Slate 12 has a display resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels with 163ppi, while on the other hand the Slate 8 tablet comes with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and aspect ratio of 4:3. Both of these Android Tablets runs KitKat and comes with some pre-installed HP apps. The company is also including its new Duet Pen along with these tablets. WhatsApp Web Client in works, first screenshots leaked

We already heard that WhatsApp is currently working on the web version of its messenger app. Which means that the company is planning to give its users an option to easily manage their WhatsApp account from their computer, without even touching the phone. A Google+ user has recently shared a screenshot of this web client. While the screenshots were taken from the mobile version of the app, but it still points towards the upcoming WhatsApp web client. The image have been taken down now, but thankfully we have the picture to share. To make things work, users will be required to pair the mobile app with the computer. As per the screenshots, users can do that by going to the Settings page and scanning a QR code. After which, they will be able to chat with their friends on the web browser version of the app. Along with this new “WhatsApp Web” client, the company is also working on a voice calling feature too.
