WhatsApp Web Client in works, first screenshots leaked

We already heard that WhatsApp is currently working on the web version of its messenger app. Which means that the company is planning to give its users an option to easily manage their WhatsApp account from their computer, without even touching the phone. A Google+ user has recently shared a screenshot of this web client. While the screenshots were taken from the mobile version of the app, but it still points towards the upcoming WhatsApp web client. The image have been taken down now, but thankfully we have the picture to share. To make things work, users will be required to pair the mobile app with the computer.

As per the screenshots, users can do that by going to the Settings page and scanning a QR code. After which, they will be able to chat with their friends on the web browser version of the app. Along with this new “WhatsApp Web” client, the company is also working on a voice calling feature too. But we still don’t know when the company is planning to release these new features. But whenever it comes, it will really help WhatsApp to increase its monthly active users mark.
