At the time of Galaxy Gear launch, Samsung has limited it’s compatibility to only Galaxy Note 3, but after a few days the company released an update for its Galaxy S4 users to make it compatible with Galaxy Gear and now it seems like Samsung wants to add more phones to it’s compatibility list. Samsung India has recently announced that they will be rolling out a new software update for some of their popular Galaxy Smartphones, to support Galaxy Gear smartwatch. This update will be live sometime this month, the company has not provided any exact timeline for the roll out. The Smartphones which will be getting this new update includes Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy S4 zoom. Google launched its latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS along with new Nexus 5  smartphone  and the company also announced a sad news that Samsung Galaxy Nexus users will be not getting the new Android KitKat Update. Now it seems like the Galaxy Nexus users from all over the world are not happy with Google’s decision that is the reason a new petition on change.org asking Google to reconsider its decision has been signed by over 15,000 users. All the Google Nexus devices including Nexus 4, 7, 10 and Google Play Edition of HTC One and Galaxy S4 will be getting an Android 4.4 Kitkat update in the next few weeks. As reported, Samsung has finally started rolling out the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for all it’s Galaxy S III users. The Update is currently rolling out for Vodafone Ireland units and we are expecting that it will reach other markets and carrier in coming weeks. Samsung first Smartphone to run Tizen Operating System has once again spotted in leaked video. Dubbed as Sasmung Z9005 Redwod, the newly leaked hands on video shows off a clear look at the device and it’s new Operating System, including settings, notifications and the camera UI. The User Interface of Tizen OS looks somehow similar to Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface for Android. Tizen also includes a circular icon set, which looks identical to MeeGo OS. Samsung has recently launched a new smartphone at their annual “Heart Of The World” Charity concert. Dubbed as Samsung W2014, the new Android Flip Phone looks similar to the previously launched W2013 smartphone. The new W2014 is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2GB of RAM and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Operating System. It has got 13-megapixel of rear and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It has also got Dual-SIM connectivity option and 32GB of Internal Storage with microSD card slot. As reported, Samsung has finally launched its new Galaxy Golden Android flip phone in the Indian market. The price of Samsung Galaxy Golden in India is Rs. 51,900 which is very expensive. Flexible display Smartphone is in discussion for quite a few years, but the technology was always a bit too far ahead of the curved displays. Samsung India announced that they will soon launch two new mid-range Android smartphone in Indian market. Samsung will launch it’s new Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch in Indian market on September 17th. Recently Samsung has also started pre-booking process for Galaxy Note 3 and also for Galaxy Note 3 with Galaxy Gear smartwatch for Rs. 2,000. There was not any details regarding it’s price, but finally we had got a hint for the pricing of Note 3. The device is currently listed on Saholic with coming soon tag. Finally, Samsung has started rolling out the new Android 4.2.2 Update for it’s Galaxy Grand Duos smartphone in Indian market. The update is available over-the-air and also via Kies app. If you want then you can manually check for the updates by going to Settings << About Phone << Software update << Update.
