LG teases its dual-display smartphone ahead of October 1st event

After a long rumors and speculations, it is now confirmed that LG will unveil its dual-display smartphone on October 1. The company confirmed the news via a teaser video for its event in New York on October 1st.

But unlike other dual-display smartphone like Yotaphone 2, LG’s upcoming smartphone will have a small, secondary “ticker” display on the top. We already got our first look at the smartphone when it passed Chinese regulator TENAA.

This isn’t the first time when we are seeing a smartphone with secondary ticker display. Samsung already tried to do something like that in 2010 with Continuum and later made it more better with the launch of the Galaxy S6 Edge.

As per the leaked details, the LG V10 smartphone is expected to come with a 5.7-inch of quad HD display screen, powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage. It will also include a fingerprint sensor.
