Samsung Galaxy S5 now getting Android 5.0 Lollipop Update in India
Samsung has finally started rolling out the new Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for all the Galaxy S5 smartphones in India. Indian users have now started receiving the notification to install this big update. The update is currently rolling out over-the-air and via Samsung Kies application.
The company is yet to release the official change-log, but you can expect to see the usual Lollipop features like the all new Materia Design UI, improved notifications, guest mode support and other performance improvements. Another thing to note here is that, Samsung says after installing this Android 5.0 OS on your phone, your phone’s “available memory will decrease by a minimum of 950MB.”
The update is of 874MB in size and it will require 3GB of free Internal Storage. So, make sure you have that space on your Galaxy S5, before hitting the install button.
