Windows 10’s New Web Browser Spartan will pack unique features

We already told you that Microsoft is planning to introduce a new Web Browser, totally different from the Internet Explorer in its upcoming Windows 10 Operating System. Now we have received some new details regarding this web browser. Microsoft has codenamed it Spartan and the company is planning to bring some unique features in this browser. As per the new reports from The Verge, Microsoft’s Spartan will feature inking support, allowing Windows 10 users to easily annotate a web page with a stylus and transfer that to their notes. The interesting is that it will be powered by Microsoft’s very own OneDrive cloud storage service, which means that all the notes will be stored online and you can easily access it from any platform. The company also plans to integrate its new Cortana Digital Assistant in Spartan. With the help of this features, users will be able to search for flights, hotels and other data just with their voice.

The company plans to totally customize Cortana on the basis of users voice command. Which means that if you want to search for “American Airlines,” then it will automatically display the tracked flights with their status. The User Interface of Spartan will be something similar to Chrome. Which means that it will look a lot better than the Internet Explorer. The company is also planning to allow users to easily group tabs as per their work. The company might also introduce support for custom themes in future updates. Another interesting thing about this browser is that it will look and feel very similar on all platforms. So, whether it is mobile phone, tablet or PC, it will look and work same. Spartan will pack a lightweight design, different from the Internet Explorer. We still don’t know what the company is planning to call it. But for now it is codenamed Spartan and we are expecting to see it at the coming January 21st Microsoft event.
