Motorola Nexus 6 32GB variant now available on Flipkart for Rs 33999 with exchange offer
If you like the Nexus 6, but its price was holding you back from purchasing it, there’s some good news for you. Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce portal, which is also exclusively selling the smartphone in India, is now offering up to Rs 10,000 off on the Google’s flagship handset through an exchange offer. The offer, however, is only valid for the 32GB variant.
The Motorola manufactured Nexus 6 was launched in India last year for Rs 43,999. Through the exchange offer, one can snag it for as low as Rs 33,999, which somehow brings it closer to the Nexus 5’s official retail price of Rs 29,999. The exchange offer is, however, available only on select handsets, and varies with the handset you’re turning over.
For instance, you can get Rs 10,000 off on any of the iPhones starting the iPhone 4S and above. Similarly, you can also trade in your Nexus 4 or Nexus 5 and get Rs 10,000 off on the purchase of the Nexus 6. But handsets such as LG G Pro, HTC Desire 600, HTC One Mini, Micromax Canvas Knight will only get Rs 8,000 off. The list of the eligible handsets includes Moto X first and second generation, Gionee Elife E7, Nokia Lumia 800, BlackBerry Q10 and Z30 among others.
Do note that once you have sent your handset to the company, Flipkart won’t, under any circumstance, return it back to you. Also, exchange offer could also not be available depending on your geographic location. A representative of the company or local courier will pick your handset while delivering the Nexus 6 to you.
For a refresh, the Nexus 6 sports a 5.96-inch AMOLED display with QHD (2560×1440 pixels) screen resolution. It is powered by a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU. The phone is available in 32GB or 64GB storage options. The device has a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
