iPhone 5S & 5C will be available for Free on 2-Year Contract in India


Android fans are now having the new Nexus 5 Smartphone and Android 4.4 KitKat excitement and now iOS fans in India are also having something to get excited for. According to the recent reports by Hindu Business Line, Apple has signed a deal with Reliance Communications (RCom), who is going to provide the 16GB version of brand new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C free of cost on a 2-year contract basis in India. RCom will be the first company in India to provide Smartphone on contract basis as similar to US & UK. RCom will offer unlimited voice calls, SMS and 3G data for a fixed monthly fee ranging between Rs 2,500 and Rs 2,800. It is also being expected that this offer will restricted to only credit card users in India. The reports also add that the 16GB iPhone 5c will be priced without a contract at Rs.41, 900, and on-contract it will be available for a monthly fee of Rs.2,500 while the 5s, will be priced at Rs.53,500, and on-contract for Rs.2,800 a month. Apple will launch the new iPhones in India today. So, we are looking forward if Airtel and Aircel will be providing the same Contract scheme to it’s new iPhone users or not.
