YouTube planning to launch it’s own music subscription service
New reports claim that, YouTube is planning to launch its own subscription music service in coming months. It is expected to be similar as Spotify but it will also include video components. It will have two different tiers, a free version and a premium version which will offer unlimited access. It is expected to cost around $9.88 per month for premium version.
The premium users will have the option to remove ads and will be allowed to store music for offline listening. According to Billboard this upcoming YouTube subscription service could also be paired up with other Google products and services including Google Glass.
In response to this report, YouTube said that “We’re always working on new and better ways for people to enjoy YouTube content across all screens, and on giving partners more opportunities to reach their fans. However, we have nothing to announce at this time
