Gabbar Singh stood as Number 1 telugu movie at USA Boxoffice
Pawan Kalyan’s gabbar singh movie becomes top grosser among all telugu movies till date in USA.
According to latest information Sources from producers of Gabbar Singh informed that Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh has collected $ 1,791,250 in 6 weeks of its run in USA. With this Gabbar Singh has broke the existing record of Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu at US Boxoffice. Dookudu which has released in 2011 created a massive record collecting $ 1.6 million in its full run which is broken by Gabbar Singh in 6th week.
While the fall of Rupee against Dollar became added advantage for Gabbar Singh. Dollar at Dookudu’s time in sep-oct 2011 was around Rs. 49 and now its Rs. 57 (as on date). Considering the fact, if collections of both the films coverted into Rupees….. is as follows::
Dookudu $ 1,600,000 X 49 = 7,84,000 (Appox 8 Crores)
Gabbar Singh $ 1,791,250 X 57 = 10,21,01,250 (10 + Crores)
With these above figures show Gabbar Singh is far ahead of Dookudu. And it has set a new All Time Record at US Boxoffice to become No:1 Telugu film in terms of Dollars as well as Rupees .
In india, despite the film nearing its 50 days run, reports are arriving that it is recording housefulls. Going by the gross collections, the film has already crossed Rs 75 crores mark and it looks like the moment that many have been waiting is likely to come.
‘Gabbar Singh’ is almost heading towards ‘Magadheera’ but in slow pace. It will be completing 50 days on June 29th.
‘Magadheera’ stands first at Rs 82 crores (share) and ‘Gabbar Singh’ is expected to crosses this magic number soon. The market pundits say that if the same trend continues for another week to ten days then it is sure to create the new record. Let us see what happens this week.
