Komaram Puli stuck between Rs.35 and 75 ticket rates
Komaram Puli is ready for release but got delayed not because of postproduction issues but because of financial matter involved.Producer Singanamala Ramesh Babu sold the movie’s nizam area distribution rights to geetha arts last year and now releasing in few other areas on his own through their network.But since the movie got delayed a lot in making and cost of production increased, he demanded more money from Allu Aravind for which he got rejected.But now as a compromise, Aravind is using his influence to get the balcony ticket rate raised to Rs.75 from Rs.50 and other ticket rates too proportionally.This will help him recover all his investment within less time.But since this will effect many other small movies, other producers met information and broadcasting minister Geetha Reddy and requested to bring back ticket rate to Rs.35 as it was in 2008.Only after this issue is resolved by government, Komaram Puli will release.
