100 year old lady donates eyes to CCT after death
In an inspiring incident, a 100 year old lady from nellore district, Somisetty Seethamma donated both her eyes after death to Chiranjeevi Eye Bank.She followed Chiru’s slogan that Donate Eyes, Live Twice.
Nellore district Chiranjeevi Fans Association president, P.Chandrasekhar Reddy went to Modern Eye hospital with her declaration papers and collected her eyes to send them to Chiranjeevi Charitable trust.
He thanked Seethamma’s family for their co-operation and requested that anyone in nellore district willing to donate eyes can call on these numbers, 9989247025 and 9949401049.Other fans must take inspiration from Seethamma’s donation.
