Chandrabose criticised for writing about DRUGS in Komaram Puli lyrics
Lyricist Chandrabose’s name was not included on Komaram Puli’s audio CD even though he wrote all 6 songs in the album.Only Academy award winner A.R.Rahman, Pawan Kalyan, director S.J.Suryah and producer Singanamala Ramesh’s names were mentioned on front side of CD.Reasons for this are unknown but, chandrabose has been criticised for writing poor lyrics for powerstar’s movie and now another issue came up.The song ‘Power star…’ which is being treated as one of the finest numbers in the album has got an interesting line. It goes ‘adharallo heroin undhi…. kulukullo cocaine undhi…’, well the truth is that both heroin and cocaine are prohibited drugs and legally those words are not allowed to be used in mass media in the way they appeal for youth. Comparing the beauty of a lady with these terms would raise curiosity among youngsters to taste those 2 prohibited drugs, say many.Those who heard the song say that the censor board might object during the film’s release.
