New features in Apple iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S

Apple announced it’s two new iPhones in an event on September 10th and Yesterday iPhone 5C was kept on pre-order. The company was expected to announce many new things like new iPad, Maverick, iWatch, iPod etc. But Apple started the event with the announcement of iOS 7 release date, then it unveiled the much awaited iPhone 5C and after that iPhone 5S smartphone. Nothing more. The iPhone 5C is a colorful plastic phone which starts with the price tag of $99, replacing iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S is a high-end device which features 64-bit A7 chip, superior camera and a fingerprint sensor called Touch ID. Both of these new iPhones will be available on September 20th.

IPHONE 5C

It is a highly rumored iPhone, which was expected to get cheap price tag. But there is only a cheap plastic rear panel on this phone. The price of iPhone 5C is $99 for two-year contracts and it also comes in different color option including green, white, blue, red, and yellow. Jony Ive described this phone as “beautifully, unapologetically plastic.”

iPhone 5c features a 4-inch of Retina display screen and is powered by A6 chip. It has 8-megapixel iSight camera as similar to iPhone 5, along with improved FaceTime HC camera on the front panel.  It runs latest iOS 7 operating System. There is also option for custom, soft-feel rubber slipcases for $29 each. If you want to buy this phone unlocked, then you have to $549.

IPHONE 5S

Now coming to iPhone 5s, which is also called as the successor of iPhone 5 smartphone, it comes in three different color options, which includes silver, gold, or a darker “space gray”. iPhone 5s comes with a new A7 chip with 64-bit architecture. Apple says that this new chip will make iPhone 5s several times faster than that of its predecessor. The camera has been also updated in this new iPhone. As rumored, the device features a fingerprint scanner on it’s home button. The iPhone 5s is competing against its cheaper, “unapologetically plastic” counterpart, starting at a heftier $199 on contract for a 16GB model.

FINGERPRINT SENSOR

It is the highly rumored feature of iPhone 5s, which is a fingerprint sensor built right into the new round home button. Act as a substitute for traditional password or Pin, with a thin capacitive  sensor layered at the top of the bottom. You can use it to unlock you phone, verify purchases and also it can handle multiple fingerprint from different users.
