Pawan Kalyan sponsors Air Rifle shooter Rekha for next Olympics

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan once again proved that he is a man of action and not just words.He has encouraged IIT entrace topper in the past and now, he is sponsoring a lady shooter for next olympics.
Rekha Chalichemala is a shooter (Air Rifle) representing Andhrapradesh & India.She born in Ananatapur & brought up in Hyderabad and she has won 19 Medals so far.She want to participate in next Olympics, but practice for Olympics it is very expensive to get proper training, equipment etc.Recently, she met powerstar during ‘Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu‘ shooting at Annapurna 7 acres and explained him her situation.Knowing this problem, Powerstar assured her to sponsor 5 lakhs for her training and preparation.Rekha plans to represent india in 2016 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.This is why Pawan Kalyan has so many followers and a religion called ‘Pawanism‘ formed after him.Rekha Chalichemala, is trying to participate in 2016 olympics for Event – 10m Air Rifle, 50m Three Position.Rekha, a National Cadet Corps (NCC) Cadet and a 1st year student in SJ Polytechnic, Bangalore in Computer Science, is the national record holder (Juniors) in 50m Rifle Prone event. She broke the record when she shot 594 at the ISSF World Championship (Juniors) held at Munich in 2010, where she finished a commendable fifth. Coming from a modest background, she is a prime example of the immense wealth of shooting talent in our country.Despite the fact that she has started participating in the national competitions only since 2006, she has won several medals at the national level and is now representing India in all major International competitions in junior category. Working with minimal resources and shooting in competitions with a borrowed weapon, Rekha has delivered winning performances against top shooters in the country purely on the basis of her exceptional natural talent.She was also selected by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) to participate in the core group of the national coaching camp in preparation for the Commonwealth Games 2010.
