Movie ticket prices to go up with Komaram Puli
Finally its decided in favour of big producers only.AP government decided to hike ticket prices at all movie theatres from september 2nd week.This will come in effect from september 9th when Komaram Puli releases.
Minimum price will be raised from Rs.10 to Rs.25 and Balcony ticket will go up from Rs.50 to Rs.75.This may be good news for big budget movie producers who make movies with heroes who have strong fansbase as they will recover maximum money through openings.But small time producers and low budget movies will get badly effected as many are not willing to spend Rs.75 per head on such movies.This may in turn increase piracy in telugu movie industry causing much more losses.After this we may not see any movie celebrating 100 days in theatres and even 50 days celebrations will become rare.Multiplexes are left with a choice to raise their price or not.
