Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s mass masala entertainer Gabbar Singh movie story is set in the village of Kondaveedu. This movie is an official remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ but major changes have been made to the script to suit our Telugu nativity and Pawan Kalyan’s image. Kondaveedu has a special place in the hearts of megafans as few megastar’s superhit movies in 1980s were shot there. The first look of Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh was released today and fans are extremely happy. The movie is being made as a full fledged commercial entertainer that will showcase Pawan at his absolute best. Harish Shankar is directing this movie and Ganesh Babu is the producer. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in this movie. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. The movie is expected to hit the screens on April 27th 2012.

The audio launch of Pawan Kalyan Panjaa which took place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Nov 19th is a one of it's kind event. Although the makers has done elaborate arrangements to accomodate as many fans as they can into the stadium, that helped only for some extent. A packed house filled with fans of Pawan Kalyan in the stadium was witnessed, much before the event got started.  Apparently, the same number of people or even more were waiting ouside the venue which had resulted a huge traffic jam. Even, Allu Arjun couldn't get into the stadium. That particular day was a nightmare for the bouncers, who were unable to control the extremely excited crowd at the venue. Remember, Pawan Kalyan is the only star present at the audio launch of Panjaa. In fact, he is the only star in the film. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh movie 1st look posters are planned to be released on 5th january 2012. Director Harish Shankar is working with the publicity designers team to make sure that these posters are done as soon as possible.He is also preparing to release the first teaser of this movie in early february.  Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Shruti Hassan is playing the female lead. She is confident of scoring her first hit with this movie. Music will be release in march last week and Gabbar Singh movie is slated for 27th april 2012 release. Looks like producer Ganesh Babu is planning better publicity for Gabbar Singh after learning from his mistakes done for Teenmaar.

Though hindi movies have been experimenting with 3D technology for big budget movies, telugu cinema is still contemplating on this technology.  Latest buzz is that B.V.S.N.Prasad, who produced Chatrapati and Darling in past is now keen on making a 3D comedy movie in telugu and that too with Pawan Kalyan.  Pawan was supposed to work under direction of Raju Sundaram for S.J.Suryah’s script, but thats a village story and BVSN Prasad wants pawan to work for urban comedy instead.   “The story is about three bachelors and how they negotiate their new roommate who is a lion. There are nearly 20 scenes with these four characters. It will be a laugh-riot and looks to be a winner,” says a source in the production house. To add some spice to the story, the producer is negotiating with Ileana to give the film the tag of a “romantic comedy”.

Writer Chinni Krishna celebrated his birthday on 1st january and he has narrated a story to Megastar Chiranjeevi recently. Chinnikrishna claims that this story has political background and it suits chiranjeevi’s image very much in present political scenario. But so far Chiru has not responded to chinni krishna’s idea. The writer claims to have prepared stories for Pawan Kalyan, Aamir Khan and Jr.NTR too. Chiranjeevi is right now busy with politics and may not commit for his 150th movie atleast until his group MLAs get share in state cabinet. Going by chinni krishna’s recent track record (of Badrinath), chiru may not accept his storyline.

Writer, Director Trivikram is planning a full length comedy and romantic movie with Pawan Kalyan and recently it was decided that this will be produced on Sanghamitra Arts banner. Neelima Tirumalasetti and Nagesh Muntha, who produced Panjaa with powerstar this year, are planning to start this project in 2012 second half when trivikram finishes Allu Arjun’s Honey . Saradaa is the title considered for this project. Going by the sentiment that all happy and joy titles like Khushi, Jalsa were hits in pawan’s career, Saradaa is also considered in same lines. However its not yet official and other details also will be announced by the producers later.
