Ram Charan’s bollywood debut ‘Zanjeer’ simultaneously shot in Telugu titled as Thoofan .The movie is in final stages of production. The Telugu version has been supervised by Yogi while overall direction is by Apoorva Lakhia. The audio of the film will be released on August 27th in Hyderabad. The audio release function is expected to take place at Shilpa Kala Vedika. New promos, teasers and posters will be released along with the audio album. The promotional campaign has kicked off and Ram Charan is taking part in the events.The cast includes Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj , Sanjay Dutt / Sri Hari (Thoofan) , Mahie Gill and Atul Kulkarni. Meanwhile, makers are planning an official launch of Thoofan audio album on 27th of Aug, while the tracks are already released on-line yesterday [Aug 19]. Mega Power Star ram charan’s ‘Thoofan’ movie audio which was earlier supposed to be launched on 20th of this month is learnt have been postponed to 27th of August. This function is likely to be held at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad. ‘Thoofan’ is the Telugu version of ram charan’s bollywood debut movie ‘Zanjeer’. Bollywood top actress Priyanka Chopra has teamed up with ram charan in this action entertainer while ram charan played the role of ACP Vijay Khanna. Prakash Raj,Srihari,Mahie Gil played other lead roles. Meet Brothers and Chirantan Bhatt have scored the music of the film. Apoorva Lakhia directed this film while Amit Mehra has produced it. From the time it has started the film ‘Zanjeer’ which is registering the debut of Ram Charan in Bollywood has faced a lot of troubles. Now, the film is just few weeks away from release but still troubles continue. The latest we hear is about a legal notice issued to the film’s director Apoorva Lakhia and producers Sumeet and Puneet Mehra. This has been given by Prince Tuli who has reportedly claimed that his bike was used in the film without his consent and he is demanding compensation and charges. The bike was seen in the song of the film and it was used by Charan. But it is heard that Apoorva Lakhia is just laughing this one off. He has reportedly stated that it is the producer’s lookout when he gets action vehicles so what Prince Tuli is doing is just a publicity stunt. ‘Zanjeer’ is scheduled to release on September 6th and the Telugu version is ‘Thoofan’ expected to release on the same date. Folks! Don’t get confused. Neither Samantha is playing any role in Ram Charan’s Zanjeer nor is she providing voice over. South Star Singer Chinmayi Sripada, who dubbed for Samantha in her most of the films is now dubbing for Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in Zanjeer. Priyanka has been traveling in the US since quite a while now to promote her album ‘Exotica’. And her absence from the city forced the makers to call in Chinmayi to dub for her role. Chinmayi has now become famous in Bollywood, thanks to the Titli song from recent release ‘Chennai Express’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. It is heard that, Priyanka never fumbled mouthing her Telugu dialogues in Telugu version titled Toofan. And even she said to dub on own for her role in Telugu too. But, with her other commitments she has now dropped the idea and it is the husky voiced singer Chinmayi who is dubbing for PC in Hindi and Telugu versions. Mega Power Star Ram Charan has created an international record, which a Tollywood hero never did. It’s looking like seeing at new records generated by Pawn Kalyan, Mahesh Babu in YouTube, Cherry has proved it he is also in the race of record books in Tollywood. Cherry is going to create Toofan with his film Zanjeer/Toofan at international market. Zanjeer and Toofan are going to get filmed in more than 170 locations all alone in US. Although director Apoorva Lakhia has been constantly reiterating that ‘A movie is not a furniture to move according to lady’s fancy’, and asserting that ‘Zanjeer will come on planned time that is on September 6′, the latest statement issued by production house Reliance Entertainment, Puneet Prakash Mehra, Sumeet Prakash Mehra and Flying Turtle Films have raised fresh doubts over the release of the film. Considering the ongoing agitations in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions and anti-T activists in a few regions threatened to stall the release of Ram Charan’s films, has made the host of producers to mull over their decision and to ponder over the postponement of the film. The disappointing news for Mega fans is that Ram Charan has missed the Summer race. None of his upcoming films 'Thoofan' & 'Yevadu' would be hitting the screens before the first half of June. When quizzed director Apporva Lakhia on how long does the film buffs need to wait for Zanjeer/Thoofan, he made it clear that the release date of the film has to be fixed first and then a 45 days slot has to be reserved for publicity as Bollywood films need to be promoted well to reach wider audience. So, forget about the release of this bilingual for now as it may arrive only in July/August. On the other hand, the shooting of action thriller Yevadu is still under progress and pre-production work is still in the half way. Ram Charan Tej’s Bollywood debut film Zanjeer and its Telugu version Thoofan lands in legal trouble again.Few days back the Bombay High Court lifts the stay order on both films.The Bombay High Court passed the orders allowing the makers of Ram Charan’s Zanjeer to release the film.Now the latest news is that Thoofan is facing another problem from Popular writers in Bollywood Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan.The duo writer filed petition in Mumbai High court alleging copyright infringment as they too hold the remake rights.The Writers demanding huge amount as compensation to release Zanjeer Telugu version Thoofan.So, the producers are have no rights to release the film in any other language without paying the compensation to them.Director Apoorva Lakhia is shooting the last remaining portions and personally overseeing the post production work.  If all goes well, the film will hit the screens later this year.
