Ramcharan’s 4th movie Maerupu shooting is stalled because its director Dharani quoted a huge budget of Rs.40 crores.Chiranjeevi felt that it is not affordable for the producers and especially after ORANGE movie went over budget, they want to make sure that no producer loses money due to their movies.So, Chiru asked dharani to work in tight budget which was not accepted by the director.So, producers are now contemplating on changing the director and get this movie on floors ASAP.It has been more than 2 months since Orange was released and Charan is keen on getting back to work soon.He is also considering to get trained by a specialist football coach from australia for this movie. Ramcharan’s Maerupu has been shelved after Tamil director Dharani quoted a whopping budget of Rs 40 crore.The producers seem to be having second thoughts about the film, which was launched with much fanfare a few months back and even a song sequence was shot with Ramcharan and Kaajal. “We were supposed to start shooting from December after looking at the script. But to everyone’s surprise, director Dharani came up with a whopping budget of Rs 35 crore, not including the remunerations of the stars. We realised that it wasn’t feasible and have put it on hold till the director comes up with a revised budget,” says a source in the production house.However, Ramcharan’s manager, Praveen, downplays the issue and says that “the budget is being discussed”.If Ramcharan walks out of the sports-centric film due to the inflated budget, he deserves kudos for realising the limitations of the Telugu film market. Megapowerstar Ramcharan is planning to develop 8-pack Abs to show in upcoming Maerupu movie.This movie is about an indian football player and how our football team is lacking the muscle to compete at international level.“It is a tale of a spirited protagonist who counters the plans of the antagonist in a series of soccer matches. I’ll show some muscles and a toned body since appropriate looks add dimensions to the character,” said Ramcharan.As per the demand of character, Charan is working out to gain that level of fitness required for a football player, during the strike.Shooting is expected to start around 20th of this month or in early february.
