Xiaomi may launch the Mi 4 on January 28 in India

For all those who were waiting for Xiaomi’s Mi4 smartphone in India, here is a good news for you. Xiaomi’s VP of Global Operations, Hugo Barra has recently revealed that the company is planning to launch Mi4 in the Indian market on coming January 28th. Which means that it will be on sale just after 10 days. That is what he revealed at the Mi Note announcement in Beijing’s Press Event. The company is yet to announce the price of Mi 4 for Indian users. But this phone is currently on sale in China for 1,999 yuan which means it might be on sale in India with the price tag of something like Rs. 18,999.

To remind you, Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 5-inch of Full HD display screen, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor along with 3GB of RAM, running Android 4.4 KitKat based MIUI 6.0 and packing 3080 mAh battery inside. The device also features a metal frame and nano-coating for water-resistance. The back camera is of 13MP and front one is of 8MP.
