Plex gets new update on Android, brings new design

Plex pushed an update to the official application on Google Play, that updated the user interface and a new pricing structure for the new users. The account and the pricing structure of the existing users have not been affected.

From now, by using Plex Pass Android users can select an in-app purchase to unlock full playback on your phone or tablet. Subscribers will also get many additional features and benefits.

Plex states that a new, UI has been included. This UI is a simple makeover of Plex’s previous UI, and many bug fix has also been included in this update.

What’s new:

1. A new modernized UI for mobile and tablets.
2. Many new features, like the ability to cast your camera roll to any Plex client and support for movie extras.
3. New in-app purchase model for new Plex Android users.
4. Several bug fixes.
