Microsoft Office 2016 will be released later this year

Microsoft has finally announced that it will be releasing the next version of its Office Suite later this year. To be called as Microsoft Office 2016, this software kit will include some major new changes to match the upcoming Windows 10 Operating System. “We will have more to share on Office 2016 in the coming months, but this suite will remain the comprehensive Office experience you’re long familiar with, best suited for a PC with keyboard and mouse,” says Julia White, Microsoft’s Office general manager. “We expect to make Office 2016 generally available in the second half of 2015.” Microsoft is yet to unveil this new Office 2016.

But as per the reports, the company is planning to add various UI tweaks and a Clippy-like helper in this version of Office. It will still look very similar to Office 2013, but it will be touch-optimized. The company plans to release the preview version of Office 2016 for Windows 10 in the coming weeks. But we still don’t know the exact release date for the same.
