Apple Releases "OS X Mavericks" Developer Preview 6 To Developers
Apple has today released the latest version of their new OS X Mavericks operating system which is currently under development and will hopefully be launching worldwide in the coming months.
Apple has now seeded the OS X 10.9 Mavericks Developer Preview 6 to developers which brings a number of minor enhancements and comes two weeks after the fifth Developer Preview brought iBooks functionality to OS X Mavericks.
New features included in the latest OS X Mavericks operating system include iBooks access, Finder tabs, Maps, App Nap and Compressed Memory, to name just a few.
OS X Mavericks version 10.9 is the tenth major release of OS X, Apple’s desktop and server operating system for Mac systems and OS X Mavericks was announced earlier this year on June 10th, 2013 at Apple’s WWDC 2013 conference.The new name of the operating system marks the beginning of a change from big cats, moving to names based on places in California.
