Ram Charan Tej’s upcoming movie Racha has got its official release date. Initially the makers wanted to release on 29th march,but due to obligation from charan’s close friend Rana Daggubati, they planned to postpone it to 5th april. But now since S.S.Rajamouli’s big budget movie Eega is also releasing on 5th april, producers of Racha have come to an understanding with Eega producers that their movie will come as planned earlier on 29th march itself. They also wanted to give atleast 1 month gap for another mega movie, Gabbar Singh which is also releasing this summer. Musician S.S.Thaman has started music sittings for Ram Charan Tej’s movie.Director V.V.Vinayak and other important unit members are sitting along with him in Ooty to compose songs. “ My 1st composing session got completed with VV Vinayak Gaaru it was so good and was very productive jus liked the way we r progressing   , ” tweeted Thaman. Cameraman Chota.K.Naidu has been assigned job to search for fresh locations in europe and he is right now in turkey and then will move to other european countries to find the best possible places to shoot couple of duets in this movie.Kajal plays a homely soft character, while Amala Paul handles the glamour part in which Charan is playing dual roles.Akula Siva has written dialogues and D.V.V.Danayya is producing it on his universal media banner.The unit are planning to go for next schedule in march and complete the movie by august.It is planned to release by end of october 2012. Mass Maha Raja Ravi Teja has signed up a new film to be produced by Aswini Dutt on the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. The film will be directed by Parasuram who has earlier directed films Yuvata, Solo and also teamed up with Ravi Teja earlier for Anjaneyulu. Their former film did not succeed at the Box-Office but it did not stop Ravi Teja from signing up second film with Parasuram. The latest news is the film will hit the floors from the month of June. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja will complete the shooting schedules of his film Devudu Chesina Manushulu with director Puri Jagannadh. Young Tiger Jr.NTR’s new film tentatively titled Baadshah is set for a formal launch with a Pooja ceremony on March 18. The pre-production works are on progress and Srinu Vytla, writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have wrapped up the script work. The entire Dookudu crew will work for Baadshah too and the film will be an action entertainer with loads of comedy. Kajal Agarwal is playing the leading lady in the movie and Ganesh Babu is producing the film on Parameswara Arts banner. SS Thaman will provide the musical scores. Since Baadshah is first combination film of Jr.NTR and Srinu Vytla, the buzz on the film is high however, the makers promise to show the Dammu actor entirely in a new dimension. Ajith starrer Billa 2 the prequel to blockbuster Billa, being directed by Chakri Toleti will be dubbed into Telugu later. Billa 2 is being produced in Tamil on Wide Angles Creations banner with a huge scale budget that casts Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah as the female leads. The makers have planned to dub the movie into Telugu instead of trading the remake rights. Billa 2 also casts Prabhu, Jayaram, Rahman, Sudhanshu Pandey, Vidyut Jamwal and Sriman in the pivotal roles. Billa 2 is gearing up to be released on May 1st on the occasion of Ajith Birthday. Yuvan Shankar Raja is taking care of background score while RD Rajasekhar will take charge of camera with Suresh Urs handling the editing department. Art is by Selvakumar.
